Hey guys! Hope you're all doing well!!
So my current issue with my crystals is, for Christmas my boyfriend was gifted a lapis lazuli necklace. It's a black cord with a tumbled lapis piece hanging off of it. My boyfriend is not all that into crystals, but I am so he gave it to me to wear which I was really excited because I have no crystal jewelry other than 1 garnet bracelet. The past week or so of me wearing it, the lapis chunk keeps falling off and going missing, but when I find it the clasp nor the necklace is broken in any way!! I can't figure out how or why it's falling off and thought maybe it's possible for Crystals that weren't meant for you can run away? I don't know maybe that's silly but I can't think of any other reason it would magically be falling off without being broken and going missing.
Thanks for any help or incite you can give! Have a wonderful day 💕
i’m not sure of that happening. but lapis lazuli is controversial because it isn’t ethically sourced naturally if it comes from Afghanistan as their mines were seized and that is what keeps the country so poor because that would be their source of income but they don’t have access to it. the people that seized it rent it out to people who pay to mine there but they keep all the money and Afghanistan doesn’t receive any. However lapis lazuli deposits can be sourced from a few places such as the US or Chile for example and these would be fine. so that could potentially be the reasoning behind it if that can happen. I hope this helps!
I apologize for the wall of text, I was trying to give as much context as possible
